Summo ("the App") is a personal finance app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and your choices.
All your financial data — transactions, accounts, budgets, and more — is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We have no access to this data. It is never sent to our servers.
To help improve the App, we collect anonymous usage data such as which screens are viewed and how often the App is opened. This data is not linked to your identity and does not include any financial information.
You can turn this off at any time: Settings → General → Usage Analytics.
The App syncs your data across your devices using iCloud. Your data is stored in your private iCloud account, encrypted by Apple. We cannot access it.
If you choose to share finances with family members, your data is shared through iCloud's built-in sharing system. You control who has access and can stop sharing at any time.
The App can automatically record Apple Pay transactions using iOS Shortcuts. This data is processed entirely on your device and never leaves your device or iCloud.
When you export data as CSV, it is shared through the standard iOS share sheet. Once exported, we have no control over how the data is used.
Payment reminders and budget alerts are generated on your device. No notification content is sent from external servers.
Delete the App or clear your iCloud storage to remove all your data. Anonymous analytics data is automatically deleted after a period of time and cannot be traced back to you.
The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time through the App or your Apple ID settings. You can also opt out of analytics (see Section 2).
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will reflect any changes.
